The main application area of the Viral DNA/RNA Universal Kit is the automated isolation of viral DNA and/or RNA from plasma & serum, while providing very good extraction performance on samples collected in transport medium as well.
The extraction procedure utilizes our proven technology based on highly specific magnetic beads, and the prefilled 96-well deep well plates allow for fully automated nucleic acid purification with excellent yields and purity.
The Viral DNA/RNA Universal Kit is currently available for 64 extractions on the Katsura M32 Nucleic Acid Extractor, and similar platforms using 8-rod heads.
