The newly developed sample-to-result platform will enable the fully automated analysis of samples, from magnetic bead-based extraction and automated PCR set-up, to real-time PCR detection with up 6 channels.
The instrument incorporates a proprietary and slender liquid handling system for sample transfer and PCR set-up, combined with the proven magnetic separation technology based on magnetized metal rods, which provides the lowest possible risk for cross-contamination by not transferring any liquids during the extraction process.
The proprietary PCR set-up process utilizes common 0.2 ml PCR tubes, and the real-time PCR module performs fast cycling protocols for up to 16 samples per run. Depending on customer’s needs it can be configured to run multiplex applications with up to 6 channels.
With its compact benchtop design this fully integrated platform is ideally suited to every laboratory setting with medium to high throughput needs and the desire for maximum flexibility.
